Instructor Article
Anne Krizzel Aban, she is a full-time instructor at STI College Calamba. She chose teaching because for her, it is the most fulfilling profession; she had the opportunity to influence students and to mold them into competitive and responsible citizens. She's been teaching for two (2) years, major in math. She was also asked if she was planning to move to another school like those other teachers to have bigger salary and she said "not at present"; she also said that she was satisfied with her work but still aiming for professional growth. We all know that teaching is not that easy, you need to have a pack of patience in able to survive everyday, but Mam Aban seems to have a lot patience, she is confident and always calm to her students everyday. She doesn't even tolerate the student's misbehavior and try to deal with them calmly. She said that she doesn’t nag at herstudents, and she also gave some tips when it comes to teaching; "Before teaching a lesson, see to it that students understand the lessons very well. So study and research until you no longer have any questions in your mind left unanswered. It is possible that these are also the questions in your students will have. Give as many examples as needed, always ask the students if something is unclear. Be patient and understanding." This may be just a brief interview, but I had got a lot of lessons from Mam Aban. She is one of the great instructors at STI College Calamba. Go Mam
