HAY Majayjay

According to some travelers, traveling to Majayjay Laguna is not that easy. But when they reached the place, tired travelers sighed, “Hay!” after scaling a cliff, “Hay!” after climbing a hill, “Hay!” after crossing a raging river and “hay!” while looking and feel the ambiance of the falls. That is the legend story why the barangay called “Majayjay”. But what are the travelers like in this place? What are the trend spot in Majayjay, Laguna? Majayjay located in the southernmost part of the province of Laguna, where we can find the wonderful falls and that’s what we called “Taytay Falls”. Others call it the Majayjay Falls or even Imelda Falls, because ex-First Lady Imelda Marcos financed the promotion of tourism in this place. It is known as “two-storey high falls” where located in a isolated scenery where the forestry is abundant. If you want to reach Taytay Falls, you have to go down the stone steps leading to a kilometer-long path. At the bottom of the falls you can see a man-made basin nestled. There you can enjoy swimming in the cold waters of the falls! You will surely stare at the falls for a couple of minutes and you will surely be overjoyed to the sight of the falls and its surrounding areas.
